1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Sazonia collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you use sazonia.com and related services.

2. Controller and data processed
The controller is Pablo Araujo, operator of Sazonia. No data protection officer has been appointed at this stage.
We may process account data, business data, store or branch data, user-uploaded menu content, technical and usage data, session identifiers, cookies, billing data and support communications.
If you sign in with Google, Sazonia uses Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication. In that case, we may access, collect or validate the following Google account data, when available:
- user identifier or Google provider identifier;
- email address;
- email verification status;
- display name;
- profile photo.
Sazonia does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or other Google Workspace content. We do not read, create, modify, or delete emails, files, calendars, contacts, or documents in your Google Account.
Firebase Authentication may process credentials and tokens needed to complete sign-in. Sazonia uses this data only to authenticate you, create a secure session, and link your identity to your Sazonia account. We do not store your Google password.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to create and authenticate accounts, provide the platform, manage businesses and menus, process payments, provide support, send operational communications, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and improve the product.
Specifically, data obtained through Google Sign-In is used to verify your identity, complete or display basic profile information in Sazonia, protect your account, maintain your session, and provide access-related support.
We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, sale to data brokers, creditworthiness evaluation, lending purposes, or training generalized artificial intelligence models.
Legal bases may include contract performance, consent, legitimate interests and legal obligations. Analytics, experiments or marketing rely on consent where required by law.
4. Limited use of Google data
Sazonia's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use Google data only to provide or improve user-facing features within Sazonia. We do not sell Google data, transfer it to third parties for advertising purposes, or allow humans to read it except when necessary for support requested by you, security, legal compliance, or aggregated and anonymized internal operations permitted by policy.
5. Cookies, providers and transfers
Sazonia uses necessary cookies to operate the site. Analytics, experiments or marketing cookies are only used in consent-required markets when you accept the relevant category.
Sazonia does not sell personal data. We may use providers for hosting, infrastructure, authentication, storage, transactional email, payments, analytics or support, including Firebase Authentication and related Google/Firebase services, Vercel, technical stack providers, Mercado Pago and Polar when active.
Because Sazonia operates from Argentina and uses cloud infrastructure, data may be processed outside your country or the European Economic Area. We aim to apply reasonable safeguards and provider contracts.
6. Retention, deletion and rights
We retain data as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, keep security and billing records, and enforce agreements.
Basic data obtained through Google Sign-In is retained while your Sazonia account remains active or while needed for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Revoking Sazonia from your Google Account may prevent future Google sign-ins, but it does not automatically delete data already needed to operate your Sazonia account.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence or work.
To exercise rights or request deletion, contact legal@sazonia.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity. You can also revoke Sazonia's access to your Google Account from your Google Account security settings.
7. Automated decisions, security and minors
Sazonia does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or improper disclosure. We use HTTPS to transmit data and infrastructure providers that apply security controls for data in transit and at rest, although no system is completely infallible.
Sazonia is not directed to people under 18 years old.
